Dave Ziffer's software passion is to improve the quality of both software tools and development methods. From his early years at Bell Labs (77-83) through his various business ventures that have taken years off his wife's life, he has pursued one idea: namely that systematic, comprehensive design yields unexpected quantum benefits in software quality and capability. His current mission is to demonstrate the surprisingly practical advantages of using this philosophy, as compared to the more mundane outcomes that we've come to expect from the highly pervasive minimalist approach. Dave is the owner of Project Pro Inc., a software consulting firm in the western Chicago suburbs.
